I know I've read "A Grief Observed", but I don't remember much about it. I'll have to read it again - thanks for the recommendation.

You didn't like Chicken Soup for the Grieving Soul? I loved that book; I buy copies of it and take it to funeral homes with me. It is so comforting to people who've lost a loved one. A little sacharine-y, like all the Chicken Soup books are, but there are times in life when you need that type of thing. I just read another book called Always Too Soon that was supposed to be "words of support..." for people who've buried both parents. It wasn't, it was just plain depressing. I do hospice work so I read a lot on death and dying. This Chicken Soup book is my favorite. You caught my eye because you were the only one to rate it. Once I did, it's average rating tripled. I've never made such a difference before!
