About meI am a highschool English teacher, a homeschool mom, and a (hopeful) writer. I enjoy picking blueberries in the summer and making Halloween costumes in the fall.

About my libraryI like to buy books, just for the sake of buying books. If I really like a book, I have trouble leaving copies of it behind. So I own 2 copies of The Well-Trained Mind and 4 copies of The Sound and the Fury.

I think a library says a lot about a person. Do the books look used, ahem, well-loved? Are they pretentious? Or is A. A. Milne tucked in with your Plato and Aristotle?

A bookshelf can tell you if you've found a friend. I once had a roommate in college whose bookshelf contained her books for the current semester and a Bible. Nothing else. The relationship was doomed.
