About me After actively participating in a bookgp., I started one and enjoy leading discussion several times/yr. I love to delve into themes, character analysis, compare styles to other familiar books, etc. I love novels, historical fiction, biographies, and some non-fiction as well. I raised three wonderful children, I quilt, make soups, volunteer, do genealogy, and maintain friendships.
About my library Heavy on fiction.

About Harry Potter--I list multiple copies because I own all the books in hardcover in the American edition and all but The Deathly Hallows in paperback in the British version and also the American audio version of all seven books. One of my son's lives in the same small town I do so I cataloged his books so I didn't buy something I could borrow and so he has a list of all his books ("Marty's"=it belongs to Marty; "at Marty's"=it is mine but at Marty's house--this keeps us from buying duplicates and keeps track where books are). In the case of Harry Potter neither one of us was willing to wait for the other to read a new volume so we each bought our own copies when they were released.
I noticed you have read Three Cups of Tea. This will be our book to read for our semi-annual (October and April) community read at our local library branch next month. The library gives us a free PB copy of the book to be read. Every branch in our county has the opportunity to participate in this program with a list of books to choose from. I would love to hear your thoughts on this book.
I love Josephine Tey--I have only two more to buy--To Love and Be Wise and The Franchise Affair. (Books you've recently entered are 2 Josephine Tey.) I read The Chosen years ago and loved it. I have it on audio now, but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. We seem to have a lot in common.
