About me 40-something female in Hampshire, England with husband (the Dodo) and ginger tom cat called Hodge. I used to work on the peripherals of the publishing industry and was sent books on all subjects - some I kept, some I didn't but I read over 90% of those I received. I'm oneof those poeple that tend to have 2 on the go at one time, usually a fiction and non-fiction. I also have 'bath' books which are ones I have read and re-read so I can open at any page and just pick up the story. Then I have the lunchtime book at work which is read, believe it or not, during lunchtimes (working in the middle of nowhere means that I have no shops to wonder around!) Never happier than when curled up with a pot of tea, a plate of rich tea biscuits (NOT fingers!) and a good book or three.

About my library A complete mish-mash of titles and authors. We buy what we like. The non-fiction books are mainly history and historical buigraphy, often 2 or more books on the same subject to get a more rounded picture of events.

This is very much a work in progress and will be updated when I get the time.

Delafield is one of my favorites. I aso just read the book by her daughter, titled "Provincial Daughter" and enjoyed that as well. Looking at you profile you may enjot the "Tea" group under Groups. It's one of the busier discussions.
Originally I bought them all but have now slowed down to the ones that interest me.I've also shelved them in amongst all my other books, the swathe of grey didn't work for some reason!
