About meI'm that girl who is crazy enough to blog her life story. I am an adult child of alcoholics who spent her childhood moving around the United States. My childhood dream was to become a writer. I still have nothing out there in the real print world, but thanks to the internet, the world can read some of the things I have written which include fan fiction for the TV series "V", poetry for my 1st love, ACoA poetry and some religious poetry.

About my libraryI had two book cases full of books. But since I am so limited on space, I condensed down to one. Hubby was so happy. Now I have this crazy dream of living in a mansion that has a library in it and a huge fireplace in the middle. I wouldn't have had to have parted with some books now, then would I? I am really into self-help books now. I have a shelf for writing books as well. I've got my shelf of Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and Illustrator, the latter two which I haven't read yet... uh oh. And then theres a collection of text books from my communication courses at Indiana University. I've got some health books too. If I had it my way, I'd add another book case for a current, updated encyclopedia set, like Britannica or something. I would also have a lot of history books. I'm not real big on fiction, but I've been known to read a few here and there.

V rocks. I remember when it first played on television. I have all the novelizations now, after searching for many years.

Hi. Yes, I have all sixteen of the original "V" novels (including the novelization of the two mini-series). I've had them for years but didn't actually decide to start reading them until last year. I got through about half of them and then decided to take a bit of a break from the "V" stuff to read some other stuff. I mean to get back to them soon, though. Quality wise, they're like most series novels based on shows like this, ranging from average to pretty good. At least, that's been my take on them. The worst one or two I simply found a bit on the boring side. But I've enjoyed them, overall. As for Kenneth Johnson's upcoming "V" book ("The Second Generation", I think), I'm definitely looking forward to it!
