Happy holidays, it's nice to hear from you. The 15th is actually my next volunteer day at the Newseum and your book presentation that evening would make for a good outing afterwards. Please do let me know the exact time. Army and Navy club is on Farragut Square, I believe?

Thank you for the generous offer of the guided tour by the curator!! I'll definitely let you know when I'm able to visit the Collection.
Kind regards,

I love your book! It's a great collection of his German uniform prints and shown at a perfect size. I first learned about Herbert Knotel from the four volume Napoleonic Uniforms set with the text by Elting. Since then, I've been able to pick up his Deutsche Uniformen cigarette albums and about 400 of his father's Uniformenkunde plates. I have heard of the Anne S.K. Brown collection and would love to visit it someday, if possible. Needless to say, I envy you your job!! I live in Orange County, and would love to take you up on your offer next time you are in the L.A. area. Thank you for your note! Steve
