I am looking for someone who has actually read the new Newbery Award winner, Good Masters, Sweet Ladies. I am compiling a list of recommended books for advanced sixth grade readers to send to my principal, in the hopes she will buy some of them! Obviously this book has literary merit, but do kids enjoy it? Have you read it/used it with students?
