I've only joined librarything.com recently so I haven't loaded up my full library (about 120 books currently) but I was intrigued to see how many books we have in common 25 at this point. It will be interesting as I load up another couple hundred books how many others overlap.
I am reading currently "The Arms of Krupp". Very interesting. Manchester is a great storyteller. Thoroughly enjoying it. I've also recently finished Tom Friedman's, "The World is Flat". That was a thought provoking review of globalization. I am enjoying Manchester so much that I am thinking about reading his "American Caesar" about Douglass McArthur next. Manchester's, "A World Lit Only by Fire" was also brilliant. What are you currently reading?
Interesting also that you are in American Revolution and Founding Fathers groups. I just also read not to long ago a new book about how the Rev war was fought called, "Almost a Miracle". It was awesome.
Also neat to see that you have a few Bill Bryson books. He is hilarious. I lived in the UK for a number of years so his "Notes from a Small Island" was personally appealling to me as was his "I am a Stranger Here Myself".
Ah, so many many books, so little time. My library is Andrew Woelflein, check it out.
Best,
Andrew

I'm just about done with mine now. I'll have slightly over 700 books when I'm done. These days I only buy non-fiction books. I won't buy popular fiction novels, their just too expensive, especially the hardbacks. The library is just fine for reading those. My goal is to have a book on every major and minor battle of the civil war. I use Abebooks to buy my books. I've found that you can get a good condition book at a very reasonable price.
