It is funny you mention Ishiguro as I was listening to the Bookshow last evening on Radio National and they were speaking with this author about his new novel 'Nocturnes' and I must make a point of tracking down his backlist. I do have Never Let Me Go on my shelf.
The Colour by Rose Tremain is a good read also.

Thanks for regarding my library as interesting! It is always nice to receive such a compliment. Susan Johnson is one of my favourite authors and have you read her new novel 'Life in Seven Mistakes'? I have also read through your reviews and have given you thumbs up for Fall on Your Knees,The Trout Opera and Mr Pip. I am pleased you liked them so much as I have all three novels on my shelf and it has spurred me along to read them soon.
BTW I love the little bird in your profile picture. What type of bird is it? I have lots of birds in my garden and have a bird feeder just outside my kitchen window.
You live in a beautiful part of Australia. I lived in Kwinana for two years as a child and went to school at Rockingham where our playground was the beach! I have such fond memories of my time there.
