I apologize for taking so long to repond to your recent comment to me.
Thanks for the kind words about the Covenant Radio program with Dr. Fesko. He sure was a gracious guest. His book on Justification is really good. I appreciate the first chapter where he deals with the history of the doctrine especially.
We are going to try to work in some broadcasts that are not necessarily "book related". That is, there are going to be some programs that are topic driven. For instance, in January 2010 we are going to host Dr. Joel Beeke on the topic of "Christian Piety" and cover that topic from numerous angles. It should be an interesting discussion.

I just finished applying for membership at Puritan Board. I read in the rules that they might accept people in the process of Reforming, so I thought I would give it a go.
I am subscribed to a large number of Christian YouTubers, although James White currently isn't one of them. I'll be sure to start watching his videos.
Thanks for the information and God bless.

I intend to join Puritan Board in the near future. I've been keeping up with the recent posts and finding them to be very insightful. I would have joined up ages ago, but upon reading the rules, realised I would need to figure out where I stand first. Like you were once, I don't currently hold to any confessions or creeds, so I need to do some research. I will definitely look at the Westminster Confession of Faith, which you have suggested before, and the London Baptist Confession of Faith.
I am still a member of my local Assemblies of God church, so I guess that's sorted, even though they aren't Reformed.
I'm still having some hiccups in my "conversion" to Reformed theology, but I'll get them sorted out. I just need to do some more reading of my Bible and systematic theology.
Thanks again for all the great information, John. It's been a real blessing.
God bless you.

I've been reading Puritan Board lately, and stumbled across this thread: http://www.puritanboard.com/f29/book-ref.... I thought the name "baron" looked familar, so I checked your LibraryThing page. :D
I haven't joined yet, but may do so in the future.

Just yesterday my request to join Google Wave was processed. Unfortunately, I don't have any invitations to share, but I'll be sure to invite you if I get some. Until then, I still recommend placing yourself in the queue.
Google Wave is quite interesting. I think it has a lot of potential, but I think it will take a while before everybody starts to adopt it. And I did find out that it was in fact developed in Australia, in Sydney, New South Wales.

I've finally gotten around to reading Systematic Theology: an introduction to biblical doctrine, by Wayne Grudem. I've gotten through about five chapters so far, and it's great. I'm really pleased with it, so thanks for recommending it to me.
God bless you.
