I keep my books cataloged -- they each have both Dewey & LoC on their spines. Yup, I'm a book geek and proud of it ;~) About my libraryMy library is predominantly non-fiction, generally in the social/political sciences, gender/trans/feminist studies, U.S. history (esp. of progressive movements), and cooking. For fiction, I enjoy Tom Robbins, Douglas Addams, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I haven't read "Fat is a Feminist Issue," so I can't directly relate it to that ... perhaps once I read it, it will be more clear to me.
I'd love to chat with you on the research you're doing, as I studied the suffrage movement for my masters thesis in Communication Studies and have been thinking of working my findings into talking about contemporary feminism. dancingwaves at livejournal dot come is my email address.
