About meI didn't grow up in a reading family but I am trying to cultivate a love of good books in my own family. As a homeschooling mom I believe passionately in the value of books, for wisdom and entertainment.

About my libraryYou'll see a lot of children's titles and classics on my shelves. There is a lot of fiction but I am trying to build up my non-fiction section as well. Most of my books are used because they are cheap. But we all know, there is nothing like a new book to raise one's spirits.

Oops, just wanted to say that Mark Twain is one of my favorite authors also. Have you ever read his "Joan of Arc?" What a great book! One of my favorites. It can be difficult to find cuz it is very old, but if you are interested you will not be disappointed.MB
Hi, Just dropping in tonight to say hello to everyone I see on the thread for the NaNoWriMo. The picture on your page is beautiful! See you soon. MB
SO sorry! I did get about a week ago, so thank you VERY much:) Did you enjoy it? I will have to check & see if you have a review...thanks again!!!
I received my books last night. Our development has two number 48's - one is Thoroughbred Drive and one is Horseshoe Drive. For the past two weeks, the mail person has been leaving some of their mail in our box, and some of ours in their box?? Anyway, I was very excited to receive them and the sweet adornments on the packages. Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!

Have a great weekend,
Irene
Ah, to have a whole week to myself to read, and whatever... Even if my husband were away, Katy Belle would never allow such solitude.

Enjoy!

You take my breath away...The Monsters of Templeton will be knocking on your door very soon.
Your generosity is overwhelming; thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Irene
If you would like to trade another book, let me know. I am also interested in The Blue Notebook.

Thanks so much!!
Have a great weekend...
Irene
I'd be interested in Beach Trip, if it has not already been spoken for. Thanks:)

Becky - I have an ARC of Tethered that I've never gotten around to reading. And, if I'm honest, I probably never will read it. It sort of slipped off my radar. Anyway, it's yours if you want it. Remind me of your address and I'll get it out to you in the next few days.

Decisions, decisions...I have the Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. Unbridled Books have never let me down, so I will choose Last Night in Montreal. They are all winners, though.

Thanks so much; you did not have to send me a second book. I truly appreciate your kindness.

Happy reading,
Irene
Hi,
If Nothing Right by Antonya Nelson is still available, I am interested. Let me know what books you are seeking.

Thank,
Irene Yeates
The 19th Wife arrived yesterday. Thanks!! Now, to exercise some restraint. :-) I have some other books that I must finish first.

Thanks again!
Glad the book got there safely. No rush on 19th Wife. Just whenever you get back in the swing of things. Hope you had a wonderful vacation!
Hi,
I wanted to drop you a note to let you know that the Fireman's wife arrived yesterday and is going on top of the TBR pile. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for sending me Sarahs Key I cant wait to start reading it. It arrived on my doorstep on Friday afternoon.
Yeah, this is one I'll probably buy, if my library doesn't bring it. Thanks.
Thank you so much for reading Tomato Girl and for your heartfelt review. It means so much to me when readers care about the characters as I do. I saw your blog, which is wonderful, and I'll post a link to it this afternoon on my blog.

Best,

Jayne
I'm glad you got Tomato Girl. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I have not been here in forever! Thank for commenting. I need to update my list!
I have only just started adding books to my LT library recently so I don't have that many yet, but it seems we share a lot of them!!
Hey Petunia, It's Lisa from Books on the Brain. I'm happy to see you over here at LT!
