About meI'm Bee. Living in Devon, England but grew up in Australia. I'm fairly new to the world of page turning, school put me off reading and I didn't take any interest in it until after I graduated college, one of my sisters bought me a copy fo Harry Potter in 2001. Since then I've had my head buried in a book.

About my libraryIn my TBR pile...
- Ask and it is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks
- The Host by Stephenie Mayer
- Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
- City of Bones - Cassandra Clare
- End of Mr Y - Scarrlet Thomas
- PopCo - Scarrlet Thomas
- The Art of Racing in the Rain - Gareth Stein

My actually library is back home in Australia... with the other half of my TBR pile :-)

Typically so, I like an easy read, something I can get lost in after a days work. I like books with some imagination, my prefered genre is fantasy and general fiction, i'm not too fussed on Sci-Fi or crime fiction, however a great story is a great story, no matter what genre it falls into.

Ah well, you're not the only one having to apologise for late replies - I just haven't had a chance to get online for the past couple of weeks and I haven't really even got a good excuse - other than the fact that life just got busy. Camping in Cumbria sounds wonderful - it has to be one of the most beautiful parts of the country - and I won't even ask how many books you took! I have to spend a few days in hospital next month and I'm already getting my reading pile together!
I completely blame LT, why o why do I keep buying all these books? :)
but yes, the bookcases went up no problem (good old Ikea), then on the friday night (after perhaps one too many glasses of wine) we decided to paint the bookcases ... this has turned into a bigger job than I thought it would! but I'm hoping to have it finished / get some pictures on here (there's a group, 'If you build them they will fill', that shows off pictures of each others libraries); how vain is that of me!?!? :)
I'm still racing to get my bookclub book finished for this month, not had a chance to even look at 'Tess' yet, have you started it? enjoying it?
oh ... and I completely agree with booksloth's sentiments below ... I've only recently joined as well and I'm already having to go out and buy two more new bookcases this weekend! :)
hi bee, thanks for the invite (I think I have accepted it correctly ... I'm not great with computers). good luck with 'Tess', hope you enjoy it! :)
Thanks for the 'friend' invite. Nice to have a friend here who is very nearly a neighbour too! I see you're a newbie to LT so it's nice to have the opportunity to send you a big welcome. LT will be your downfall, of course _ I've bought far more books since I joined than I will probably ever have the time to read but there are just too many recommendations and I have no will-power at all!
