Noticed you liked Catcher in the Rye, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my novel since it's also about a disturbed adolescent suffering from mental illness. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm currently out of physical copies). If you're interested, send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you the e-book. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

God! I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!! Something about such a simple way to make a bookcase for your books, or a place especially for your books. you always have better pictures than most people who put pictures up on their profiles... that's quite something...

ummm, actually i've been removing books from my list, as i've been getting rid of some of them from my bookshelf because i'm never going to read them, so yeah, there! and of course i would of made it before you, if i hadn't of done that, of course!!

-Abbs
i like the picture of the computer with all the books stacked up around it, and damn- of course jimi hendrix hovering over the entire spot like greatness itself!

-Abby
nice picture, sexy.

(haha)
to me it's a decent book of artists and poets/writers who aren't so well known, who are actually quite good. but that's my opinion. i reduced it to 4 stars. not quite 5 stars, i guess, it's been awhile since i've read it, but when i did read it, i remember it was impressive.

went through your library (again), and this one caught my eye (this time): Betting on the Muse- charles bukowski, so i looked it up on amazon.com, read a couple poems that they allowed you to see in the book, and i want to buy it! i even think i would like this book of poems the way i like his novels. see, i've got his book: flash of lightning behind the mountain, but it's okay, it's not like i'd be going over and over those poems like i would his books- and i would. but these poems that start out the book, i like them a lot! i can tell this is a book of poetry i might go over and a poet i might like- even more than i like Sylvia!

-Abby
wow, are you serious? i mean that book isn't my absolute, but i wouldn't really classify it as painful, haha. right now i'm reading "holy skirts". i just got it out of the library today, and i'm already going through it fast. i've been reading: letters home- by sylvia plath, and the grapes of wrath, but any book i see that i just have to read, i go for that first, then come back to those. so i've been reading those books for like months now, ha.

saw that you recently added and i think rated (as well) this book: Me
by Brenda Ueland. so i went to amazon.com and they let you look in the book, so i read like 8 pages of what they show you, and of what i've read, i'm interested to read more. so i'm gonna go to the library and see if they've got it. i like the way she writes, and i'm intriguied already with her life by what she's mentioned so far.
