About meI'm 24, was born in Australia and currently live in Scotland. I like books and reading, London, travelling alone, falling snow, the Guardian Review, mangoes, running, watching clouds, Moleskine notebooks, bourbon, postcards, climbing hills, the British Museum, black and white photography, Fremantle, maps and Thai food.

About my libraryTragically my collection is split between three different countries (Scotland, Australia and England); I'm looking forward to the day when all my books are in one place.

My LT catalog only contains books I own (no wishlists, or CDs or DVDs).

Currently reading: The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne; Colour by Victoria Finlay; Land of My Fathers by Gwynfor Evans

Hey, saw that you read John Hart's books! Awesome author right? His next book is coming out in May, its called The Last Child! I am pretty excited about it.
Yes, I see that few books are shared. I think I came across your library through the Eric Newby book, or another travel/exploration book. You also have some scottish fiction that I would like to read - overall your book collection is an unusual collection, which suggests some new reading ideas to me. Thank you!
Yay! I finally joined! And I'm glad you're on Shelfari. Double the online book clubs = double the fun! Now my profile needs a serious face-lift... all in good time. I just finished a great book called The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I would definitely recommend it.
Annalisa,

Thanks for your comments.
So where's YOUR list of favorite authors? I'd love to see who else is on it. How did you run across my favorites if they weren't linked to yours? I'm very new to LT and haven't sorted out all of those subtleties.

I cruised your author tags and noticed a John Buchan preference - he's another favorite of mine, but I'm never sure if my preference stems from my enjoyment of the Hitchcock adaptation of "The Thirty-nine Steps." I do love Robert Donat.
I was thrilled to discover ammonite was still available; when it's gone before I arrive I may be belemnite. Perhaps we're related :-)

The envelope of Neohibolites from the Gault Clay in Bedfordshire stashed under my desk is in much better condition than the ammonite fragments from the Lower Greensand.
