Hi, we share many books in common also. I enjoy reading your book blog. I left a friend request for you. I am pattymclpn on this site. My email is pattygrig@hotmail.com. I just read Dancing to the Flute and saw that you just added this too!!! I will post a review on this Prob. next week. Drop me a line. Patty
I just finished Bed & Breakfast by Lois Battle and I was totally in agreement with the last paragraph in your review!!! I read while I exercise and I get to the point in a book where I make myself finish it just so I can add it to my list on LibraryThing. Thank you for saving me from writing a little review for myself so I'll remember whether I liked it or not---I'll just see your review and remember!!!
I love it that we have so many books in common too! I still have a box of stuff to send you! It would be so nice if we lived closer to each other and we could spend more time together. You are just the most effervescent and cool person to talk books and publishing to!
I just love looking at your books. You have very similar taste to me!
Bermudaonion,

The pencil worked for me. Thanks for telling me. I would have never guessed.
That helps a lot. I will give it a try tomorrow. Thank you.
BermudaOnion,

You've written 202 reviews???? Amazing, terrific, great, congratulations.
Glad you rated Saving CeeCee Honeycutt so highly. I am looking forward to reading it.
I want to read "One Amazing Thing" too.
We both have hot reviews. Yours was excellent--it made me want to read it, and I don't even like Lori Lansens' books.

I'm glad the rain has stopped, we should be in for some Christmassy weather soon.
You have Al Gore's book on climate change. I bet it's interesting. I have one on climate change. I haven't started reading it yet. I really want to know a little bit about the subject.

I'm just learning how to make a comment here. Duuuuh!!
Hahahaha!!
Hi Bermudaonion,

I wondered where you were hiding. I never can find myself or other people. After all this time, I'm still getting use to the site. I'm going to spend more time here. Then, I can learn my way around. It's good to see you. I put "What Is What" on my wish list. Have you read it?
Thanks for adding BannedBooksLibrary to your Interesting Libraries. Happy Reading!
Hi,How are you?
Thank you so much for being my friend..
Wonderful review, "The Chosen One." I must read it. I hope my library owns it. I tried to flag it or something. Not familiar with this system yet.
Hi bermudaonion,

I'm trying to win a copy of "The Weight of Silence." It sounds like such a good book. I'm going to put "The Beach house" by Jane Green on my library hold list. Hope the library owns it.
Hi Kathy,

Thanks for accepting my friend invitation!

Mary (Bookfan-Mary)
Thanks for the add! Drop me a line anytime!
Noticed you liked She's Come Undone, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's downward spiral and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Today until March 15. Hope to hear from you!
Hi there. I noticed my book, Love and Other Natural Disasters, was in your library, and I wanted to let you know I'm doing an author chat for the next two weeks. It'd be great to see you there!
Holly Shumas
Hi Bermudaonion! I enjoy your blog a lot, but just found your LT profile. Nice to see you here too.

(I'm ggchickapee here, but my blog is Rose City Reader.)
I recieved Vilnius Poker in the mail on Friday. Thank you so much for sending it out to me. It looks so interesting I cant wait to start reading it.
Hi! I finally got around to updating my Library Thing account with all the books I remember reading. It felt weird having only a few posted at the beginning. Thanks for the welcome!
Hi,

The book you won in November's batch of Early Reviewer books, Sima's Undergarments for Women, is available for review only in PDF format. So - we need your email address! Can you email me (abby@librarything.com) with your email address and user name, so we can get you access to the book?

Thanks!
Abby

Thank you very much. I appreciate it so much:)
I'd love American Rust! Is it still available? I will trade, also, if I have something you might like...
He is pretty cute! I think our 'kids' would get along.
Kathy wow I just noticed that too. What does that mean? LOL
I'm writing because I noticed you have a book by Karen Page in your library. I wanted to let you know that they'll be on LibraryThing for a few weeks (until December 5th), participating in an Author Chat. So stop on by and ask Karen a question:

Karen Page Author Chat
Thanks Kathy, I will probably get that next week if I get it. Thanks for telling me about the book.
You're welcome! :-)
I know, I think I might try to change my username sometime.
I saw bermudaonion and thought, Yay! Its Kathy! :-)

-Bobbie
Hi, Kathy! I found you on LT! Thanks for always stopping by my blog. =)

Happy Reading!
Jill (mrstreme)
Whoa, that was FAST. I got the book yesterday. Thanks so much for sending it, can't wait to read it.

Have a wonderful day.
Trish
Thanks for being so gracious. I love this website. So many great people willing to give so much of themselves and their book. Have you ever been to New York? Its a really lovely place. There are times when I shake my head at the sheer absurdity that can transpire, in addition to wondering why there are so many people on the train, I mean don't these people have homes to go to(until my friend pointed out that I was also on the train and the other people where probably wondering the same about me.LOL!!) By the way, do you live in/have lived in Bermuda? I always wonder that every time I see your name.

Again thanks for the book.
It's yours when I'm done with it. Do I have your address? If not, I'll remember to ask you when I've finished it. If you like Snoopy, you'll love this. I spent 30 minutes just looking at all the pictures and comics.
"Dead Boys" arrived late this afternoon. I managed a good look at it and I am excited! I need to finish another book before I begin, but it is already hard to wait. Thank you again--I'll post a review here and, if I really like it, on Amazon.
So far I have been able to resist. Go me! I've read quite a few light, fun books lately and I think I may have reached my quota. Did you like the October book? I have mixed feelings on it.
I say that I'm going to stop too. It's hard though, because sometimes it takes the books such a long time to come that it's hard to gauge when you really need to say no. And there are so many that I really want to read.
You got "Now The Drum of War" already? That was pretty quick.
Oh good. I tried to give my extra copy to Shana at Literarily but then she mysteriously got one yesterday, and she said she didn't ask for it. So it has made me wonder wheter I had put in a request. It's all starting to run together for me now, what I asked for and what is just showing up. Oh well, I'll take it.
I do a lot of reading at the dog park. They think I take them there out of the goodness of my heart.
Thank you for letting me know. I enjoyed your review of Capote in Kansas and have bookmarked your site.

Lets go outside in the afternoon and enjoy this glorious early Fall weather!
Oh no! I didn't even think about that. I'm expecting a bunch of stuff too and I was hoping to get it on Monday. I had forgotten that I asked for Sarah's Key and I ordered it in Amazon, so it should be coming on Tuesday. I'm debating giving it away or sending it back
THANKS SO MUCH - you've been a huge help :)
I so don't have a blog. I'm trying to write more reviews of books I've read, but I'm not sure anyone outside my immediate family could possibly be interested in my fabulous children (if you have kids, yours are clearly the best, if you don't, it's unbearably boring) or what happened at the dog park.

I see you have "The 19th Wife". I truly enjoyed that book and even wrote David Ebershoff a fan letter (he has a LibraryThing page) and he wrote a gracious reply.

I'm enjoying the much needed rain, but hope it stops soon as we are going to Carrowinds (an amusement park) tomorrow -- a reward as my oldest (in 3rd grade) has been getting A's consistently. Bribery works!
Hi. I see you like Anne Tyler. She's such a perfect writer. I like Anita Shreve, too, but I think I read too many, too quickly, as I've gone off her a little. I have "A Wedding in December" sitting on my shelf waiting for the day I'm ready to return to her.

So glad you enjoyed Lydia Cassatt Reading the Morning Paper, Kathy!

Meg
Hi Kathy, I am almost done Tomato Girl and OMG its so good. I started reading it today and had a hard time to put it down when I went to the in laws for supper tonight. Going to bed soon to finish it up. I will be posting my review tomorrow on my blog. If anyone wants a good read then Tomato
Girl is that. Thanks for the heads up on your blog contest going there now.

Cindy
Just wanted to let you know that Tomato Girl arrived. I wish I could get right into it but it will have to wait for at least a week. I have a few ARCs to get through first.
Thanks I have a few errands to run this morning but I think this afternoon I am going to curl up on the couch and start to read the book Tomato Girl. I have read a few of the reviews and loved them.
Thanks for the friends request...Looking forward to getting to know you.
Thanks! There was so much going on on that post that I just missed it.
Thanks very much for the friend invite! By the way, I just read your review of "The Gargoyle" and I agree completely. Great read! I wasn't really expecting to enjoy it so much.
Thank you! I hope you enjoy it.

-Meg
I've seen your posts on ARC Junkies and other groups and am inviting you to be a friend. I'm going to check out your blog and I hope that you'll stop by mine sometime. It's listed in my profile, I just started it last month.
Thank you, Kathy! I look forward to hearing what you think of Tomato Girl once you've had a chance to read it.

Best,

Jayne
Lol thanks! It definitely does not :) Classes are starting back up pretty soon but I'm hoping I'll be able to squeeze in some pleasure reading during the semester.
