About me I'm 25, I live in the Lake District and I love books, zines (especially perzines), knitting, BBC Radio 4, coffee and conversation.

About my library I'm currently reading lots of library books so my personal library seems to not be increasing as quickly as usual!

I have only included books I still own and have with me at home. One day I might catalogue the books residing in my mothers attic. But probably not.

hi bettie, thanks for the recommendation. I'll get hold of a copy of Lolita, though I'll be careful when reading it on the train or bus! Am not too far from your family as I live just down the road from Dinnington in Kiveton. Been here about 18 mnths, moved from Wincobank, and you thought you had it rough on Gleadless Valley!! ;-)
Hi, Thought I'd drop by & say hello as I stumbled across a post you made in the readitswapit forum & followed the link to here. :-)

I notice you have Nabokov listed as one of your favourite authors and as one thing I've been meaning to do is read some russian literary classics I wonder if you could recommend one of his works. Cheers. :-)
yes. we're pretty amazing :-)
I saw that we share an interest in poetry. I thought you might get a kick out of my book Anarchy Bell. It's unlike any poetry book you've ever read, I can guarantee it. It's viewable at Suburban Fiction.com
hey thanks bettie! wanna play a game? pick a book that you think i should read but is not in my library and i will go buy it and read it, and then i will do the same if you want.
Hi There!

Thanks for the comment, I do realise just how addictive this site can be. Of the books we share, which are your favourites? For me I would say Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, (and indeed anything else by Murakami!) and 1984 Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. Im less keen on Lolita and Slaughterhouse 5.
