About me"She is too fond of books..." um, er, I forget how the rest of it went.

Currently I am reading:
Unlundun by China Mieville
The sweetness at the bottom of the pie by Alan Bradley

About my libraryRepresents the books that I share my home with - the books I have owned for many years; the favourites I have read many times and those potential favourites I am yet to read; the gifts (thanks!); and the books that find temporary lodging on my shelves.

Very simply, this library represents my love of books and reading, and the fact that the vast majority of my home is filled with books and open bookshelves. You know what they say: A house with a room without windows is like a body without books. Hang on. A room without windows is like a book without a soul. Whatever. You know where I'm coming from.

Noticed you liked Lovely Bones, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here, as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it also contains a young female narrator struggling with a series of tragic circumstances. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Hello, bettyfiver - it's an honour to be added to your "interesting libraries" list! I must say I'm a bit intrigued as to how you came across my library, and what interests you about it... I think it's pretty unremarkable myself - a bit typical of the English lit grad, I guess! - not to mention a bit stuck at the moment, while I get my act together to pay for membership so I can break the 200 barrier!
