About me I read banned books.

(I chose this name because the proper spelling was already taken over on LiveJournal. No matter what else I do, I've had a book-centered life practically since I was born, and certainly before I learned to read, myself. That is all. I found out, later, that "Bibliofile" has been used for all sorts of things for professional librarians, including an academic newsletter or two, and a cataloging tool. There's even a free online tool for tracking books: "those you've read, those you'd like to read, and those you're reading." (Sound familiar? It's obviously an idea whose time has come.) Among other things.)

About my library My LibraryThing includes books that I actually own, not just ones that I have read. (I know, I know -- long discussions about that dichotomy.) However, it is a catalog in progress, as most of my books remain in boxes for now.
