About meI am a graduate student working on finishing my M.A. in English. My thesis will focus on Orpheus (and maybe some other mythological figures) and how he affects the writing of the English Renaissance. I am incredibly excited about it, and getting my application things ready for a PhD program.

I have dog who loves going to college football tailgates - that's him in the pic, and my room is filled with overflowing bookshelves.

Southern girl born and bred - I love to cook and have my house filled with wonderful friends any time. If only these skills would make my English degrees more marketable!

About my libraryI love reading, always have - hence the English degrees, and I like to read a lot of variety. My library contains books I have read for class as well as pleasure. I love my books, and I cannot imagine not having the warmth of them throughout my house.

I will be honest and admit I have not read everything in my library, but I have read most of them! My TBR pile of pleasure reading just keeps getting bigger, and I will get to all of them eventually.
