About meI am the author of The Artichoke Trail: A Travel Guide for Vegetarians in the U.S. And the soon to be published novel, World Leader Pretend, through St. Martin's Press.

About my libraryIt is interesting to view both me and my wife's collections together and see the results: feminism, West Coast American fiction, veganism, Philip K. Dick, anarchist theory, brainy contemporary fiction, classic literature, psychoanalysis, and oh, lots of brand new parenting books... If we show up on anybody's match list it would be a miracle.

Noticed you liked Catcher in the Rye, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my novel since it's also about a disturbed adolescent suffering from mental illness. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm currently out of physical copies). If you're interested, send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you the e-book. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Thanks,

I dunno about that "no matches" theory, Jim...I share 38 books with you and your wife including some very abstruse ones like "Hunger's Brides" and "The Social Construction of Reality"...no parenting books, my daughter's almost 29 and the mother of three...and, perhaps understandably, you two are light on gay subjects.

Still, LT is such a weird and wonderful place to make the odd connections, eh what? Good luck with "World Leader Pretend" and may it sell a million!

Cheers
