Just perused your review of Meg Gardiner's Dirty Little Secrets and I highly recommend the Evan Delany series that was first published in the UK (you can get them in paperback over here). I love her stuff. Such an intense writing style!
You've got a nice library here! We've got a fair number of book in common and you've also got some others that I want to eventually acquire. While the tastes are similar, I see we do have some differences of opinion on the ratings. Makes for some interesting discussion. BTW I got the same message from raystone7, except mine came as a PM. I wonder who else got the message . . .

By any chance, do you do any off road bicycling? I'm just getting started in that sport, but I see a LOT of references to your portion of the US for off road cycling. I'm looking for some vacation ideas for next year.
The theological loopholes are most disturbing, but this, I suspect, was partially the aim on Young's behalf. He wants to make God pedestrian, approachable, non-offensive and non judgmental. He does a great job at it, but is it blasphemy as some say? I think not. It is fiction. Period. Fiction with the power to heal hurting people who have suffered and wondered where was God when it all happened. For another great read (non-fiction) check out A Step Into Deliverance by Toni Pugh. It is a riveting autobiography of a pastor's struggle in holding together a small church in Ohio. A real page-turner!
