Thanks for visiting my blog. I poked around with Library thing a bit a couple years ago but ultimately I ended up using a spreadsheet to record my reading data. As a data/analysis nerd, I enjoy the flexibility for analysis that spreadsheet programs provides (MS Excel and Open Office Calc in my case). I have my reading list set so that it outputs graphs showing interesting analysis such as in which time periods my books were published.

For awhile, I was using pen and paper for my record keeping. I made up some tongue-in-cheek analysis reports which I posted on my blog.
