Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked Paris Trout, and thought you might like my novel since it's also southern and a bit dark (in the same vein as Paris Trout). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

charing cross library on the same road is selling books by the bagfull, so u could check them out to see if there are any scifi books amongst them. i was there today, and they have bags with 4books for £1. it was too much trouble to look into each bag so i did not bother. however u might like to try ur luck. the books for sale section is upstairs. it is hit or miss whether u find anything there. i once found Michael moorcock's The dancers at theend of time on sale in my local branch(st james)so it is very much potluck.
There is a row of second books along charing cross road, and they might be worth a look.
Someone mentioned 'the "Fantasy Centre" on Holloway Road. http://www.fantasycentre.demon.co.uk/ he says it is good, but another person says it is only one room.
