About me Lawyer by day, married to a chef. We have a (highly acclaimed, thank goodness) French-Mexican restaurant in Philadelphia. (See www.palomafinedining.com) I do all the desserts, books, payroll and hostessing when I'm not practicing law or making beads or designing jewelry. Thank goodness for caffeine.

About my library Cookbooks clearly dominate. Once I finish entering them, I may finally see if my 1000+ estimate is accurate, as I stopped counting long long ago. I am entering my books room by room, shelf by shelf, so it may be a while before I get to literature. (Edited to increase the number, as I have just inherited my mom's collection, so the process of entering these is going to be even longer... sigh)

I just finished reading [My Life in France] by Julia Child. It is a great read, tells how she got started into baking/cooking and a lot about French cooking. I really enjoyed it.
