About meI have a PhD in psychology. I work in a women's studies department. I love cats and nonfiction. (I like fiction too, but it's not what I gravitate toward any more. I think grad school did that to me.)
About my libraryThis is currently but a fraction (the most interesting portion) of what I own. I'm working on it, though. I have tons of academic reference books (mostly on psychology, sexuality, theory, and feminism) that I'll get around to listing one of these days.

I’m a belgian university student that loves chick-lit. Would you like to help me with my thesis and write to me why you (personally) like reading chick-lit? What is it about chick-lit that appeals to you? What are your favourite books and why? Your help would mean a lot to me!
Best wishes,

We need to swap our bibliophile tendencies. I need more nonfiction in my life. I tend to read only those that interest me and I don't really do it to learn, which I probably should. As for fiction, I think it's just a matter of knowing what to read. I've done lots of research the last year or so before getting books and it helps because that way I know if something may interest me. There are still several I throw out, but my rate of success has been much better.
