About me book addict: a person who accumulates books without reading them, and without any other conscious aim, e.g. selling, lending etc. Actually, the only conscious aim is to catalogize them. The catalogue is wonderful. I admire my work and LT. -
I am a just retired professor of research methods at the Ljubljana University Faculty of social work. PhD in psychology. My mother tongue is slovenian; I read Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, and speak a mixture of these languages understandable to me. I read English and German, and speak English better as it has simplified versions. I love French, Spanish and Italian. :-) My interests are quite adequately reflected in my tag cloud. In retirement I would like to pursue my interest in fiction and literary theory as well as in philosophy. I am a little bit fed up with research methods. Qualitative analysis remains as one of my fields of interest.

About my library My library consists for the larger part of slovenian books (slovenian fiction and fiction in translation) which I cannot catalogue en masse (manually) in LibraryThing. So I am cataloguing only non-fiction (and some fiction) books in English, German and few in other languages. I do not know, how many books are there, LibraryThing will count them for me. I haven't read the majority of books in my library, but I still have some time. I will begin with the oldest ones. Time doesn't mean much to me.
