About meI'm a "gun nut" and I love the outdoors, but I love to get lost in a good book. It's hard to beat trawling around a bookstore on a rainy day.

Noticed you liked Clockwork Orange, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a group of violent kids (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Congratulations, you've won a pdf (ebook) copy of my book Storyteller. Please leave a private comment on my profile containing your preferred email address and I'll send you the pdf. If you post your review of the book on LibraryThing and amazon.com, I'll be happy to send you a pdf of the second book in the series, Flight of the Hawk, as well. Thanks for participating in the Early Reviewers / Member Giveaway program!

If you enjoy the Redwall Books you will enjoy a brand new author I have discovered . . Ren Meves and her first book is House of Brick. I found it on amazon. Try it and let me know what you think. GRJO
Feliz Navidad!

You're very welcome! I figured you weren't hoping for the latest Perl programming book and I didn't want to go old-school with some ForTran! "The Stranger" is ... weird ... I was like "this won a Nobel Prize?!" Somebody out there must have thought it was breakthrough literature! If the read is not enjoyable, at least now you can enjoy the song "Killing an Arab" by The Cure.

Have a cool yule and lots of nerdy, literary fun! ^_^

Addis
Hi BMJ!

Welcome to the 20-Something LibraryThingers group!
I've started a group thats dedicated just to discussing HP and the Deathly Hallows. its called HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS ONLY. We could all post about the last book there so that is will be contained and we won;t have to worry as much aobut spoilers. Join when you finish the book.
Thanks for joining the group! Feel free to invite your friends, start topics, and generally be as involved as you're interested in being.
