About meHi!

My name is Susan and I'm a 25 year old archaeological researcher, working for English Heritage, living in Swindon. The picture is the Duke Humpfrey's Library, part of the Bodleian in Oxford where I am lucky enough to spend some of my days...

About my libraryMy books are a very random selection of some I have, hopefully will be updating it as I go. As I commute to London most days I have time to read quite a lot!
I read lots of fiction, try and aim for the prize-winning stuff, but any genre really. Also have quite a lot of non-fiction, mostly historical or archaeological.

Noticed you liked The God of Small Things, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a grief-stricken family. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter)in case you'd like to read more about the novel before you commit:

Thanks,

Haha! you are the first person I've seen on LibraryThing that I know (apart from those I've recommended it to!). I'm so glad I found it, makes knowing what books I've got so much easier - and also made me realise how many I owe!

How is lovely EH? How is not so lovely Swindon?
