I will check out your shelf as well.
Right now I am reading The Gate At The Stairs by Lorrie Moore. It has quite a few funny observations by its college sophomore protaganist.(I have a freshman dtr. and a sr. dtr.) I am not sure where this story is going as it has bogged down for me about page 80! I seem to be in the mood to put books down lately.
I really enjoyed Those That Save Us by Jenna Blum. I thought it was better than The Kommadant's Girl and quite similar!
Of course,I loved the Guernsey book...it was my book when I hosted my book club here.
