FYI
I have uploaded a cover for "The Best School in the World": West Point, the Pre–Civil War Years, 1833–1866 by James L. Morrison. This is from the 1986 Kent State University Press hardcover edition.
I'm writing because I noticed you have a book by Andrew Dornenburg in your library. I wanted to let you know that he'll be on LibraryThing for a few weeks (until December 5th), participating in an Author Chat. So stop on by and ask Andrew a question:

Thanks for the recommendations. Sounds like something I'd enjoy. I like early American history.

I haven't read those. What are they about?

Looking forward to Azincourt. How did you get an early copy of it? I didn't think it was being released until Nov. 1.
Always nice to find other fans of Cornwell. He is my favorite author at the moment. I'm currently finishing up the Saxon Chronicles. Still have Lords of the North and Sword Song to read. What's your favorite series by Cornwell?

SubD... consider yourself dubbed BookB.
PS. forgot to mention that I loved Ethan Frome (and if you haven't yet seen the movie, it is really well done). Also really loved Death of a Salesman (again a great movie).
Hi again BB
what type of coffee do I like?......hmmm, rich and dark (just like the chocolate I like!), with a bit of soy milk. It is the thought of my morning coffee that gets me out of bed in the morning (ok and the need to get the kids to school as well I suppose). As to what I'm reading now, I just finished A Thousand Splendid Suns and Brunelleschi's Dome and really enjoyed both. Just started March and The places in Between. I think my fic/nonfic % is somewhat similar to yours: maybe 70/30 but haven't done a true calculation. I note you have a lot of cookbooks. I love to cook too, but seem to turn to many of the same cookbooks over and over again. The first new one I've bought in a long while: by Mark Bittman "How to Cook Everything Vegetarian", is fantastic!

HI BB
Thanks for clarifying, and thanks for introducing me to the tea group. I'm actually a coffee lover too, but haven't seen any good coffee groups on LT as yet. Will continue to check out your library. Let me know which of the books you are currently reading you really like.
Thanks!
Hi and thanks for your nice email. I'm new to this so have not added many books yet, but I really liked your library and hope to check out many of the books you have read.
Am still trying to figure out some of the features of this site.
I Was wondering what you thought of the Ultimate tea book?. The site said you had a review but it looked like someone else reviewed it. Sounded interesting.
best regards.

Tipping my hat to your collection of Tea books, and I am partial to Tintin myself.
Yes, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Reacher Creature!
Pleased to meet you and flattered that you find my library interesting.
Just passing by - Saw your post in Tea, and thought what a good username!
