About meI love to read. I have always loved to read. Now that I have raised my family (three beautiful daughters) I have more time for this passion. I live on the beach of one of the many beautiful shorelines in Michigan. I feel very blessed in life and love. Presently I am still working as nurse (a profession I very much love) but lately I am looking forward to retiring to my beautiful beach home with more time for enjoying my books and attacking that rapidly growing to be read list.

Tell me what you thought of Swimsuit after you finish, if you wouldn't mind.
I put The Time Traveler's Wife aside which is very odd for me.
Also, out of curiosity, what part of Michigan? I spent a good bit of my childhood traveling from our farm in KY to My Mom's family in many areas from Detroit to Sand Lake and further north.
Would be interested in any recommendations of authors as you read much the same as I, if you have a bit. I am taking 10 days off with my husband this Friday & we are traveling in our 5th wheel. I am taking a couple new authors with me. Harlan Coben, Patricia Cornwwell, Ed McBain. So ready for our fall escape.
Good to meet you on LT.

I'm sitting here with my significant other (my dog Chip) and adding and checking out ooks -new and old.
Chip has become a fan of Spenser Quinn, author of Dog On It. It;s very good. I have the Audible audio and
we have enoyed it greatly. As I type (sort of) I;m listening to Blake Bailey's biography of John Cheever.
Well done. Cheever was a troubled soul. It seems to have been a male family trait.
I ope all is well with you as the weather gets better. MJ
