About meI live each day to the fullest and enjoy life as much as possible. I'm addicted to reading and buy more books that I can read. I absolutely love to cross stitch, cook, hang out with friends, travel and love watching tv and movies. My dream vacation would be Paris, France.

You got it! :) Enjoy.
Thanks! Don't think HBO could have picked a better actor for 'Eric'
Yeah, Wicked the musical was completely different and so much better. That's really the only reason I read the book, to prepare myself for the upcoming musical, but I guess it was pointless since they're essentially two different stories. What'd you think of them?
The pleasure is all mine. The success of any novel depends on readers such as you. I look forward to your comments.

From Blossoms

From blossoms comes
this brown paper bag of peaches
we bought from the boy
at the bend in the road where we turned toward
signs painted Peaches.

From laden boughs, from hands,
from sweet fellowship in the bins,
comes nectar at the roadside, succulent
peaches we devour, dusty skin and all,
comes the familiar dust of summer, dust we eat.

O, to take what we love inside,
to carry within us an orchard, to eat
not only the skin, but the shade,
not only the sugar, but the days, to hold
the fruit in our hands, adore it, then bite into
the round jubilance of peach.

There are days we live
as if death were nowhere
in the background; from joy
to joy to joy, from wing to wing,
from blossom to blossom to
impossible blossom, to sweet impossible blossom.

Haha! Thank you kindly. =)

Just looking at your library, I think you may like Dennis LeHanes books. If you decided to check him out, start with "A Drink Before the War". It's the 1st book in a series of 5. They made the 4th book into a movie called "Gone Baby Gone". Of all the book/series of books I've read they're still my favorite.

Just a suggestion-
Thanks,
Shane
