About meI'm rapidly becoming to resemble the picture of my neighbor's goat. My first grade teacher turned me into a booknut and I haven't looked back yet. Never go anywhere without at least one book. Love taking pictures, especially macro shots. Love tatting and making jewelry crafts. I always take a walk looking at the ground - run into a lot of things, but find a lot of nice agates, jasper, quartz, and petrified wood. Under the thumb of several wild birds - a stellar jay, a couple of chickadees (mountain and black-capped) and a very bossy robin. Owned by a cat or two and drooled over by a couple of dogs. Regularly told off by several visiting black squirrels when there is no peanuts in their favorite feeding places.

About my libraryI've got a little of most things: science fiction, romance, mystery, fiction, non-fiction, history, crafting, rock-hounding, tatting, etc.

Thank you for the huge favor... :)
Thank you so much, this is the second time you have been a fantastic angel for me! I really appreciate it!
Both books have arrived (!!!) and replace falling-apart secondhand copies. :D

I know you said you don't need more points, but you're still getting a smooch when I get some more points, and a point donation to a charity (or charities) of your choice.
Oh, poor toe.

It does take some effort to break ice, and I've only done it small-scale (cars). Whatcha using for it?

And of course you have to taste-test the icing to make sure it's okay for other people... Or else who knows what would happen?!
Thank you very much for that! You're so nice :)
Yeah, sure, that would be great! Don't take too much time out of your day, though! I won't be very picky because I always like Smithsonian magazines. :)

Thank you!

Hey Clara - I was going over my library and found that I had put your name as a tag next to my Elizabeth Peters books - wasn't there a thread where we discussed this and I was going to hold them for you and you were going to see which ones you had/didn't have?

If it wasn't you, my apologies.

If it was, the books I have are The Last Camel Died at Noon, Naked Once More, and Children of the Storm.

Please advise if you want any or all of them or just want to wait. They're not going anywhere.

Thanks,
Karen
Hi Clara

Thank you so much! That book has been on my wishlist for a while but never appeared apart from the US-only one. Let me know if I can do anything for you.

Is A&E the BBC one with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle? IMO the best version. I have it on VHS but have watched it so many times the tape is worn out, its my comfort viewing. I have my fingers crossed that I will get the DVD for Christmas.
Thank-you again! I cant wait to read them either as I am such a fan of the original book, which I am going to reread in preparation for the arrival of these two!

I see you've added some Katherine Kurtz books. I've got two of hers in my TBR pile. I've never read her before. What do you think of her?
That sounds like a win-win for everybody! I'll ask her if she's agreeable and let you know.
I am so jealous of your Blue Jays. Every now and again we get one in the yard. Unfortunately I cannot put out peanuts for them. We are overrun with squirrels. I used to think they were cute but after living with a herd of them for the past four years, I could be happy if I never saw another one again! Take care of that finger!
Just stopping by to say Hello. Hope things are going well in your corner of the world.
I just realized that I don't think I messaged you about getting the magazines. Thank you SOOO much, I really appreciate it, I love them!
Hi Clara! The Tolkien book arrived today. It's in beautiful condition - THANK YOU so much... again. You're really helping my husband's collection right along. I've setup an LT account for him and am loading his books now.
I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
Hi Clara,
I really appreciate it. thanks!
We received The Lost Tales vol 2 today. It's GORGEOUS Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! My husband loved it. I'm trying to get him to log his books here. Maybe I'll give up and log them for him! Thanks again!
I also have Children of the Storm if you want it - didn't realize that I hadn't "bookmooch"ed it.

Was still logged on, so I've already mooched them from you. I'll look forward to them some time after the 6th.

I have books in my library listed under tag "bookmooch" that I'm going to be cycling into BookMooch - if you see any you want, let me know.

karenmarie
hey booknutzz - I'm interested in the Charles de Lints. Can you reserve them for in BM? username is same - karenmarie.

Thanks
Yes, I definitely want The Anything Box. Reserve it for me and poke me when it's listed there? :D
Yeah, the pizza roll box was great. I loved it! I'm going to reuse it today to send some books out!
