About meArts-lover, sports nut and all-around goof. I work part-time for a Jewish preschool and do freelance web work. I've been happily married since May 2004 -- thanks, Massachusetts!

About my libraryA hodgepodge of historical fiction, sci-fi, fantasy (especially Pratchett), filmmaking books, sportswriting, travel guides and memoirs, children's classics, GLBT works, and other stuff. When I married my wife, I married her book collection too, so any books listed here are really ours rather than just mine.

Yeah, "The Master and Margarita" can often be a tough read. My edition was an older paperback, pretty bare bones. It took some struggling. Have you read "The Sot-Weed Factor" by John Barth by any chance? Sounds like something you might enjoy.
Nice collection. Glad to see you hanging around the Humor group. Can't say I share the sports obsession, but always nice to find other Pratchett fans (and Tom Stoppard, I noticed. Another fave of mine). What did you think of "The Master and Margarita"? It's a favorite of mine and I always like to ask when I find others who have it.
Hail to another Bostonian! At this time last year, the Sox were in a much better position, but oh well...we've already reversed that curse. Happy reading!
