About me Arts-lover, sports nut and all-around goof. I work part-time for http://www.boston.com, do freelance web work, and write film reviews, news and profiles for http://movie.consumerhelpweb.com. I've been happily married since May 2004 -- thanks, Massachusetts!

About my library A hodgepodge of historical fiction, sci-fi, fantasy (especially Pratchett), filmmaking books, baseball writing, travel guides and memoirs, children's classics, GLBT fiction/non-fiction, and other stuff. When I married my wife, I married her book collection too, so any books listed here are really ours rather than just mine.

I've started a group thats dedicated just to discussing HP and the Deathly Hallows. its called HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS ONLY. We could all post about the last book there so that is will be contained and we won;t have to worry as much aobut spoilers. Join when you finish the book.
Yeah, "The Master and Margarita" can often be a tough read. My edition was an older paperback, pretty bare bones. It took some struggling. Have you read "The Sot-Weed Factor" by John Barth by any chance? Sounds like something you might enjoy.
Nice collection. Glad to see you hanging around the Humor group. Can't say I share the sports obsession, but always nice to find other Pratchett fans (and Tom Stoppard, I noticed. Another fave of mine). What did you think of "The Master and Margarita"? It's a favorite of mine and I always like to ask when I find others who have it.
Hail to another Bostonian! At this time last year, the Sox were in a much better position, but oh well...we've already reversed that curse. Happy reading!
