About meI am a husband and Father of 4 daughters. For a living I program computers (Visual Basic, HTML). When I am not working I am usually working on a drawing, reading, watching movies, or writing. My favorite Science Fiction book (or set of books) would be the Dune series by Frank Herbert. My favorite Fantasy works would be 1. J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, followed closely by Terry Brooks Shannara series. In the genre of horror stephen Kings The Stand, Pet Semetary, or Christine all run neck and neck - followed by some of Anne Rice's stuff (some of the Vampire books and the Witching books)
About my libraryI have been collecting books since I was in High School. At the time it was a humble library of 30 or 40 books purchased from the Science Fiction Book Club. Now that I am 39 I have a much more extensive library, but not nearly as extensive as some I have seen here. I probably have an equal number of Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Horror novels, most in Hardcover Editions. They are alphabetically organized on my bookshelves - I know, I'm a bit protective and anal about my books. Hell, I even keep most of them in protective plastic sleeves. You can quit laughing now, I'm not as weird as I sound. ;)
