Congratulations on your new book! I haven't seen it yet, but I plan to buy it soon - it may be too advanced for my almost-4-year-old, but I love setting up art activities for older kids who visit. I see you found my YouTube videos of my daughter doing a couple of your activities. We used to pick out one almost daily, but my life has been a train wreck this year, so a lot of activities have fallen by the wayside. We use Mudworks and Preschool Art most often.

MaryAnn, I love your books!!! You don't know how many times I've raved about them to people and have bought them as gifts. My little girl is 2, and I set up a First Art activity for her almost every day (the rest of the day, I just leave a big pad of paper and crayons out), but I also get use out of the other books when older kids visit. About 6 weeks ago, I hosted a mixed-age art party with about 15 kids aged 1 to 6, and it was a big hit. There were two of the dough recipes from Mudworks (1 salt fundough, 1 sticky sugary dough), a couple of the kids liked the suncatcher best of all (I taped down the edges of contact paper sticky-side-up, and they loved ripping the tissue paper and sticking it on), and out on the patio, the kids could paint rocks and pinecones (from Good Earth Art). What timing that I should come home to a message from you, because I had just seen a couple friends and their 2-year-olds an hour ago, and we settled on this Monday to do a small art party at my house, so once again, I was looking forward to picking out explorations for the kids.

I do have a question, actually. I saw in the back of one of your books that Computer Arts was expected out in 2006, then the most recent book I bought said nothing about it but mentioned Music Arts due in 2006. Nosy one that I am, about once a month, I search Amazon for your name to see if anything new has popped up, but I haven't seen anything about those titles. I just saw on your website that Discovering Great American Artists is coming out next summer - is that the next one due?
I'm so happy I found this website! What a great idea!!
