About meI am a geek at heart. I can quote random lines from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I think that Voyager was the best Star Trek series ever. I will watch the latest Lars von Trier film to please my friends, but my simple little heart is still the happiest curling up on the sofa in front of Independence Day, with its morally black-and-white outlook on life, loud explosions and clichéd quips.

About my libraryAh! the caramel smell of new books and that sweet, musty smell of old books. In my spare time, my reading tends to be distressingly low-brow. I adore mysteries and fantasies; science fiction and romances, and despite my best efforts, I have not yet been able to complete any of the ‘must-read’ contemporary novels of the past decade.
