About meI'm married to a wonderful man, a mother of three girls, and spend time cooking in my kitchen because I love it. In addition to baking bread, I do a bit of 'clutter therapy' for the crew I live with, mull over the latest REAL SIMPLE magazine on new ways to manage my time, and I love to exercise at the Y. While home educating my youngest daughter, I find time to weekly explore my favorite Goodwill and lead a women's Bible Study in my home. I enjoy the juggling act that staying at home requires while remembering about my girls . . . 'the days are long, but the years are short.' I read a lot, fiddle with any green growing thing, and love to travel when the opportunity presents itself. As a night owl, I am rarely in bed before midnight and enjoy spending the night reading and organizing. As a busy wife, mother, teacher, and Bible Study leader, one of my driving passions would be living in community with other women.

About my libraryMany of the books I read lean heavily into spritiual formation: Henri Nouwen, Thomas Merton, Dallas Willard, and Joan Chittister.
I do have my favorites though in the area of fiction: Sue Grafton, Elizabeth Berg, Cathy Reichs, Patricia Cornwell, Robert Ludlum, and Alexander McCall Smith.
