Hey, I noticed that we are the only two members who have the book "Great-Uncle Dracula". I was just wondering why you have it? =] I think I might have gotten it at a library as one of the books they give away.
Once a student, always a student.

My apologies for not having responded sooner. I haven't visited this site for quite some time. What a nice surprise to find a doctoral student--even more surprising to find one that is studying under Robert Doran.

I am not a current student, however, since my first introduction to Lonergan (by Jerome Miller) I have not been able to wrest myself away from his influences and the continuing scholarly works and studies of his works and meaning/principles. His general empirical method and functional specialties radically alter the impact of the notion of self-appropriation--sort of breathes new life into existentialism.

Best thoughts for you in your studies. Question: How active is Robert Doran in exploring and teaching the expansiveness of the conversion process? I know he has a keen interest in the psychic conversion and has explored its relationship with religious and intellectual conversion.

Hi, I'm a doctoral student with Robert Doran at Marquette. Looks like you're into Lonergan? Are you a student somewhere?
