About me I'm twenty-five, female, and just graduated from college with a degree in criminal justice. I'm just starting a new job as a criminal intelligence analyst. I'm getting married on October 25th, 2008.
I'm originally from the St. Louis area, but I moved to Hampton Roads, Virginia after high school. I lived in Newport News for about six months, Hampton for five years, then back to Newport News again in 2005.
I've adored books my entire life. My parents love to brag about how I taught myself to read; I was three and a half.
In my spare time, I'm usually reading, researching new books to read online, running, riding my bike, or hanging out with my dog. My favorite way to relax after a long run? A steaming cup of coffee and a great book. And sometimes an ice pack or two.
About my library I use LibraryThing not only to catalog the books I own, but all the books I read. I recently stopped spending money on books I'll never get around to reading (I tend to buy books faster than I can read them), and instead have fallen head over heels for my local library system(s).

I second it.
Gave Jostein Gaarder benefit of doubt and read "Vita Brevis" as well; take my word for it, vita is too brevis to do that.
Incidentally, I like your picture. Very reflective.
