About meI'm a children's librarian, but besides children's literature, I like to read many kinds of books, especially memoirs, World War II survival stories, books about Japan, education, and Christian spirituality.

About my libraryThis is a record of books I have read or listened to. I'm slowly going back and adding books I have read since 1992 when I started keeping a list.

Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Sure, put me on your list. So you work at a public library? I'm sure you see everything! We need to teach our kids how to be discerning in what they read.

I'm a children's librarian at a Christian school grades K-8 (2 libraries). I'm using LT for the same purpose as you. It's fun to be able to enter a book on my site immediately after reading. Now I can easily access my site if I want to find a good book for a student or a class. I can also see use for student's to keep track of what they've read-with parent's permission.
