About me I work in the book industry on the technology side in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area of Michigan. I have the book collecting disease which seems to accompany being connected whatsoever to the publishing world. Interests center around Poetry, Translated Poetry and Fiction, Experimental Fiction, I love hand made books. Briefly had my own press: Canopic Books but ran out of steam and funding. I still make 1 of a kind handmade books from time to time.

About my library My library continues to grow, although not as quickly of late since I have been utterly consumed by work and my own small computer business... I have lots of stuff in translation and lots of fairly obscure stuff (well, at least from my point of view). I appreciate the book as an object in addition to an intellectual meal to be consumed. Some of my favorite publishers: Lapis Press (now defunct); Atlas Press; Exact Change; New Directions; Black Sparrow (sadly no longer the Black Sparrow of John Martin); University of California Press (they've kept the spirit of translating interesting work alive in America, in my opinion, most american readers don't seem to care very much about reading work from other cultures) and many others...
