About my libraryGreetings all,

I only enter books that I actually have in my library.

TAGS

"@date" is the date the book was written. See the "Date" field for the date this particular book was published.
"c" is appended to the date tag if the year is an approximation.
Multiple date tags occur when there is more than one story in a book and they were written in different years.
Date-range tags are best guesses on earliest and latest writings in the book when specific dates are unknown.

COMMENTS

The Comment field is used to indicate:

1) Books in a series
2) Books in a metaseries
3) Books in a set
4) For collections, a listing of short story or essay names, authors, dates
5) Miscellaneous info, per the WIW theory. (Whatever I Want.)

SUMMARY

The Summary field is formatted: title [:subtitle] by author (date). The Summary field generally reflects what is found on the title page.

PUBLICATION

This field's format is in a state of flux, basically between how it's imported from Amazon vs Library of Congress. I started with Amazon, then switched to the Library of Congress, which I find I like better once I've added the number of pages in the book. However, the number of pages indicated is always the actual number of pages in the book, including flyleafs. It is not just the highest numbered page in the book.

After I'm done, the Publication field will be formatted: location where published : publisher's name, copyright date, number of pages
