About meI'm addicted to books :) When I don't have a book in my bag, I feel naked. My favorite books are memoirs, epistolar literature and historical novels. I belong to several book clubs. Some of them are very serious about the books they pick, some of them are quite lax. (those are my favorite). Eventually I'd like to go and get a PhD in Spanish literature but I can't see myself teaching.

About my libraryI have collected all kinds of books from all my travels around the world. I have a very good selection of novels in Spanish and classical literature. I'm lucky to work at a place where we get books for free. (mostly academic books but hey, I'm not complainting)

Hola Carmen desde España. He visto tus libros y en muchos de los autores coincido en su lectura. Aunque no he estado en Washington DC, voy a New York algunas veces de vacaciones.

I found an anthology on Scandinavian women writers you might find interesting, ISBN: 0313258848. (Scandinavian Women Writers: An Anthology from the 1880s to the 1980s).

Also: Karin Boye, and Pär Lagerkvist (I think someone else mentioned him).

I hope it's okay I posted my suggestion here, I'm not a member of the ST group. =)

What I like is the ability to re-invent my childhood by reading childhood classics as an adult. It feeds a need in me. Pippi is someone I never met as a child, but find quite chaotically sensible as an adult. I'm glad I read her. Trish

vargas llosa, brice y jaime bayly, pero conoces a algunos escritores que hablen de una lima que no se miraflores, si los conoces por favor recomiendamelos.
