About meHi there and welcome to my profile page!
I'm a Book Addict! I love books, all kinds of books, and I love reading
them.
I am a librarian and I'm currently studying for a second degree, this time
in English Literature, in my spare time. Also in that spare time, I
run an Online Book Group
which has been going now for over three years. We also have a writing
group on the site, and I have been known to write a bit. I have won
NaNoWriMo twice, 2007 and 2006, but I am still deciding whether I can fit
it in again this year. I also love cats and spend a lot of time with
mine. That's all I care to share here.
Attention Publishers:
We welcome the opportunity to review your books. Please contact me for more details either here or via the contact forms on the website listed below.
About my libraryNovember 2008
*Book Group plug*
I run an online book group site, and if anyone is interested in joining to chat about their favourite books or to join in the Book Group discussions, then you are welcome. We are in the process of selecting books for next year's Book Group which will be announced shortly. We are also featuring the Richard & Judy Book Club books starting with the New Writer's Book Club books October 2008+ and continuing on with the Christmas books and the main Richard and Judy list for 2009. We also feature several on-going reading challenges and seasonal challenges throughout the year, and sometime we talk about other things besides books! Site address is below.
September 2008
Well I have come a long way towards cataloging all of my books and I am trying to keep this up to date whenever I buy something new. My next challenge is to add the ebooks and audio books to my library but since there are rather a lot, it's a bit of a daunting task!
Btw I only catalog books that I OWN, everything you see here I have. I don't use this as a wishlist or to catalog books that I've read but don't actually own. This is a catalog of my collection.
February 2007
I just joined Librarything because I wanted an easy way to catalog all my books. I live inside my library. I have many many many books, lots of fiction, lots of non-fiction, australian books, Scottish books, american books, New Zealand books, lots of different genres, many cookbooks and craft books, health and fitness books, library science books, art books and well the list goes on. One day I will get around to cataloging them all... one day

Thanks for the comment on my page. I have most of my books entered, its just now to go through and tag them all. I used the automated book add, and just put dates for the tags, so I could work with that group. But I have yet to get back to them, oops.
It looks like we have a lot of books/authors in common.
Good luck with adding all your books.

Kelley Armstrong has a great website. I haven't fully checked it out b/c my online time is limited. I have read So Many Books, So Little Time and loved it! I got it through a website called bookcrossing where we share books through "rings" and "rays". I definitely want to buy my own copy. BTW, I ordered the first of the Dresden books so hopefully it should arrive this week :-)
