About meAmature Clarence Budington Kelland historian. Clarence was born in my hometown and wrote fondly of his memories of the town and it's people.

Play the horn in our local orchestra, attend historical society meetings, read when I can, and enjoy three cats.

About my libraryLots of odds and ends, but my first love is CBK. Also naval history and some sci-fi.

My mom doesn't remember much and thinks I was asking for specifics about the stories. And her memory is getting worse. She did remember that she read his stories and books in the Saturday Evening Post. It was terrific for her, as a working mom, to have such a source. She says she just didn't have a lot of time to get to the library for books. The shorter versions in the SEP were easy to take time for. And she still loves serials and talks about how great they were.

I have posted on your site. Good luck!
I am fairly sure I have Gold, but I must not have entered it yet.

CBK is on my favorites list because it was reading him as a kid that turned me into a Reader (capital R).
