About me

I am a homeschooling mother of 7 living in Alaska. My husband and I run a big-game guiding business from our home here at Kitty Lake. We are about 65 air miles from Anchorage and there are no roads to our house.
About my libraryThe lion's share of the books I own are for teaching my children. We live in a very small house and books have to be either well-loved or useful to earn a permanent place here. But, we all love to read and most of us read fast, so there is a constant stream of genre fiction going back and forth from the used book store in town. Thank God for used book stores! I am trying to catalog and rate books as I read them (one of my favorite features on LT), so I will keep the book in my virtual library even if it has gone on to bless someone else.
