So I finished fingersmith... and I absolutely loved it. I was totally intoxicated the whole time, and could barley put it down. I really enjoyed that we got to see parts of the story from both Sue's and Maud's points of view. I did get a little worried towards the end though, after Mrs. Sucksby died, I thought the book might end with Maud and Sue not getting back together, but it didn't, and especially loved the last scene where Maud begins to read her little love letter/story/dirty read to Sue.

I loved this book and now I will watch the film adaptation to see how it compares.
