About me32 year old vegan spinster living in the desert of Southern California (which means it's too hot to go outside--best to stay in reading). I'm not sure if I really trust people who don't read; it's something I don't understand--like those who don't like sweets and/or chocolate.
About my libraryI'm doing the 999 challenge! Here's my thread with my lists:
http://www.librarything.com/topic/53726
I've only been keeping track of each book I've read since 2004 (in an elaborate and anal-retentive system), but there are many others not here that have been lost from my memory. There are quite a number of "library book" tags since I check out so many, and I like to keep them separate from the ones I own.
I thought about keeping my library private until I had entered all my books, but that's not going to happen anytime soon. So now the bookshelves are open for viewing (and mocking or envying, etc.).

I agree with you, Georgette Heyer is GREAT comfort reading.
Although I had heard of her, I had never read any of her books, because as a rule I am not fond of romance. But, when I bought a couple of them not long ago, what a pleasant surprise! Now I am finishing "These Old Shades", which I enjoyed if not as much as the Regency ones I have read.
Which ones are your favourite?
Thanks for getting back to me.

Check my profile page, and you will see one of her photos as a young woman.
